The Parable of Snotboogie

This is America. And to the extent that it's institutions manage to exclude or diminish it's people, they will nonetheless find a way to play. In the Baltimore ghetto, and ultimately, in those working-class neighborhoods of the city where hope and opportunity are dying, there are souls who will not be denied a turn--even if it proves brutal or foolish or self-destructive. And whatever is excluded from the mainstream will eventually surface as a society--an economy, in fact--entirely apart. The Snotboogies of the world are comical and tragic and doomed; but they are also eternal, and at some point you must let them play.

Is "The Parable of Snotboogie" and "Love Mix Vol 1" still available online, or is it just my browser? Having a problem getting them to D/L.

Great podcast, been playing the mixes all morning.

I like to think of myself as a creative progressive person. I've dabbled in all types of hobbies, writing, photography, drawing, this will be my first serious attempt at podcasting. So I hope you bear with me as I experiment, because I am nowhere near an expert.

For me music evokes feeling and emotion and this podcast will try to evoke feelings and moods from the listener whether they be good or bad. I just want you to feel it.

Musically I pretty much like everything. It inspires everything I do, so I'm going to try to make this show a reflection of what I'm feeling instead of playing what's popular. My taste in music ranges across the spectrum. I'm into Rap, Hip-Hop, Rock, Drum & Bass, Soul, Jazz, Ambient, pretty much everything, whatever makes me feel good. Hopefully it will make you feel good too.
